Osprey's Nest Empty Osprey's Nest

Wed Oct 31, 2018 9:38 pm
Hayden had been on some completely backwater world called Crestian X as she had fled Skyywind with her kids as she and her father had a big blow up during the first invasion. Now she was making her way back into Imperium holdings and tracked down a friend to Korval the children were safe with her brother on Unicron Prime with his family. Hay missed Saren a lot more than she had thought she would, and she was feeling rather lonely.

Her ex now the Emperor, how lovely, at one point that could've been her, she supported his efforts back then until all went to shit in hand bag, but then Hay wouldn't have gotten involved with the man she hoped would welcome her visit. Well she arrived and traced him to a penthouse suite, the Osprey's Nest. She wore a black dress that had a very deep neckline splitting the V in two that just covered her bust as she made her way to the place.

Osprey's Nest Empty Re: Osprey's Nest

Like most of the Radentia emerging from The Collapse, Saren was no longer the same Nobelman he was before the onset of dark times. Unlike his siblings that plotted and scrabbled for what remained of their father's legacy, the eldest living son of the Archduke Radentia was just as pragmatic as the man that had sired him and despite Saren's hatred toward his progenitor. The moment news filtered through that Thanis had been destroyed and that the Archduke had disappeared with what remained of their House, Saren realised they were finished and abandoned any hope of ascending the Archduchy.

Despite the loss of his birthright, Saren was Radentia and a resourceful young man. During his youth, the young Nobleman had always flirted on the edge of crime, always involved in one scheme or another. Were it not for his pedigree at the time, the young Lord may have descended into the murky life of cloak and dagger but that hope of seizing Radentia's throne kept him just on the edge. With Radentia all but lost, Saren had nothing else left forcing him to turn to dark water he had toed for the most of his life in order to eke out an existence in a period of uncertainty and strife.

It did not take long for him to assert his dominance on the underworld. A Nobleman's cunning combined with what little reach he had left allowed Saren to manipulate the major players of the Underworld and set them off against each other. From his base on Denya IX, the former Marquis carved out a little slice of black heaven for himself, running drugs and weapons, whores and extortion rings the Imperium over.

As the Black Mask, he had made a fortune for himself and built a reputation as a ruthless crimelord willing to stoop to any level in order to survive or win the day. The Black Mask was feared the realm over while his alter ego was left to attend the swish parties of Nobility as they faded heir of a forgotten hero. Old connections had their use but for the most part, Saren had left Politics to the idiots who thought they could change things. As a result, he had lost contact with most of his old acquaintances, prompting his surprise upon hearing a knock at the door.

Wondering who it could be, Saren made sure his side-arm was loaded and made his way through to the antechamber. Arriving at the door in time to hear a second knock, the young man quickly opened the door and pointed the gun square at the head of his visitor.

Cocking the hammer, the click penetrated his eardrums at the same moment the realisation and identity of his visitor dawned upon him. "Oh, its you." He said to Hayden nonchalantly, lowering the gun and disabling the hammer. Looking her up and down, he allowed himself a slim smile. He and Hayden did always have a turbulent relationship. The pair had come together after her divorce from Ceres and it had been a bit on-off ever since. Sometimes she'd stay with him for months before disappearing again to god knows where. It used to bother him but now he just accepted that this is who Hayden was. "Looking good, Hay." He said, folding his arms, gun still in hand but pointed at the floor from beneath his bicep. Leaning against the door, he leaned his head to the right slightly, still casting an admiring eye over her exquisite figure. "So what do you want this time? Money, sex, both?" He inquired, demanding an answer before he allowed her inside his sanctuary.

Finding a pistol aimed at her head when the door open wasn't exactly the welcome she was expecting but then again this was Korval. "Thanks, for not killing me. I wouldn't mind both but today I'm not picky. I'm making my way back into this peachy Imperium of ours, but I ain't going back to Skyywind, playing the prodigal daughter."

Hay and her pops had a beef about the whole sitch with the now Emp, the fucking bastard, if you asked her but nobody would nor would they care. She lived crazy life after she left with her kids but she did have a thing for Saren with her on and offness. Hay was tired of running though and she missed somewhere stable even if she wasn't but she needed it.

"Need help with any new business opportunities?"
